Counsellor of Economic & Commercial Office, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand Visits CPGC Industrial Estate

On August 2, Ms. Zhang Xiaoxiao, Counsellor of Economic & Commercial Office along with representatives from Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand visited the CPGC Industrial Estate, Rayong Province.
Mr. Yang Fan, Chairman and Managing Director of CG Corporation Co., Ltd. (CG), the developer and operator of the CPGC Industrial Estate Project, expressed his warm welcome to the embassy delegation for their visit. After that, Mr. Yang gave an overview introduction of CPGC Industrial Estate including project information, investment trend, investment calling progress, work progress on infrastructure construction, positioning of target industry for investment, and future development plan. Mr. Yang said CPGC Industrial Estate, as an important platform for Chinese investors to invest in Thailand, has successfully signed land purchased contracts with many Chinese companies in just last 3 months. CPGC will continue to explore in-depth industrial cooperation and promote the upgrading of industry development within the industrial estate, which will lay a good foundation for the plan of “Two Countries, Two Industrial Estate” in the future. 
Counsellor Zhang Xiaoxiao said the outstanding work progress presented by CPGC Industrial Estate was a remarkable achievement. She pointed out that CPGC Industrial Estate was located within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area which is a special economic development zone under the national development strategy of “Thailand 4.0” and considered as an excellent location with well-established infrastructure and facilities for operating business. She wished CPGC Industrial Estate would also seize the new market opportunity to develop more Sino-Thai cooperation and building a better service platform for new investors coming to invest in Thailand. In the meantime, she also expected CPGC Industrial Estate to further tap the market potential, focus on high-quality development, and make positive contributions to the further development of China-Thailand economic and trade cooperation.
